The Story Behind the Portrait
This image was created using a minimal setup, focusing on natural posture and controlled light. The use of chiaroscuro allows parts of the subject to disappear into shadow, while guiding the viewer’s attention to what remains visible.
This approach is intentional. By removing distractions, the portrait becomes less about how someone looks, and more about how they are present in the moment.
My Approach to Fine Art Portrait Photography
I work with people who are not used to being in front of the camera. There is no pressure to perform, no expectation to act or pose in a certain way. Instead, I create space.Space for silence.
